Heart of the City, the first national urban parks conference, will explore how we can harness the power of city parks for all Canadians.
Park People, with support from the Calgary Foundation, invites Calgary park champions to attend Jay Pitter's Keynote Presentation. Her keynote talk will unearth the history of social injustices connected to parks and provide principles for ensuring that they are sites of inclusivity. It will be followed by a Q&A.
